Wood had very little time to rest after dropping the match to E&S, but came back with strong to play AA and PCL rival Lansdale Catholic. The Vikings came out a bit tentative but managed to turn it on for a 3-0 over the Crusaders. The first set saw a lot of back and forth action early as each team felt each other out. Then a long service run gave Wood the cushion it needed to go and take the first set and not look back.
The Crusaders are a very young team this year and there is a lot of athletic ability and potential in them. They will be a team to watch next year, but this year the Vikings size and experience helped to propel them. Wood returns home to play the other AA foe in the PCL, Bonner-Pendergast.
