Roman 2.0

The final match of the season saw the Vikings travel to Roman Catholic for the second match up.  Wood came out strong and took the first set 25-21.  The second set was plagued with service errors and resulted in an 18-25 loss.  The third set saw Wood out to a strong start but a very resilient Roman team came back to nip the Vikings 27-25.  The fourth set saw the opposite as Roman jumped out to an early lead and then dropped the set to Wood 25-23.  In the 5th the Cahillites were too much to handle as Wood dropped it 8-15.  The Vikings finish the regular season 11-3 in PCL play and 11-6 overall.  The Vikings have secured the second seed overall and a bye into the semi finals which will be held at Wood on Saturday May 17th at 2:30 pm.
