Head Coach-Brendan Ledwith

Coach Ledwith is the head coach.  He graduated from Penn Manor High School in Millersville and then from Saint Joseph's University with a degree in marketing.  He has played Volleyball for 14 years, having played a mix of club and high school.  During college he played one year for the club team.  He also played soccer, tennis and was a coxswain for the crew team.  He continues to participate in leagues and tournaments all over the area.

Coaching began in his final year at Saint Joe's when he began with Philadelphia Volleyball Club as an assistant.  He then became an assistant at Central High School in Philadelphia. After 2 years as Assistant coach, assistant club director and club board member at Philly VBC, Coach Ledwith began coaching club with Panther Volleyball Club out of Warminster PA at the 16's age group.  He then coached 17 Gold team for two years.  During his time at Panther he coached the team to numerous playoffs which include 3 tournament gold's, a 10th place finish at Rochester Can-Am bid tournament, 3rd and 9th place at Nittany Inviational and 2 trips to the Boys Junior National Championships.  He was just named the inagural Boy's Director for East Coast Power Volleyball out of King of Prussia.  He has also been named the head coach for Immaculata University Men's Volleyball team.

Ledwith continued his high school coaching career as the JV/Assistant Varsity coach at Haverford HS and saw the Fords to an undefeated season, 2 tournament championships, and make it to the second round of the district 1 playoffs.  Coach then landed his first head coaching position with Upper Dublin HS.  He lead the flying Cardinals to a 7-9 overall record, which was one of the best in UD histroy and put them on the edge of making the District 1 playoffs.

Currently Coach Ledwith is with East Coast Power Volleyball Club as the Director of Boys Programs, as well as a board member at Philadelphia Volleyball Club. He has also began the process to become a USA Volleyball High Performance coach, by serving as a court coach, tryout coach, evaluation coach and lead tryout coach.  Coach Ledwith was selected to be an assistant at the USAV High Performance A3 camp in Summer 2014.  He also runs and assists with many clinics in the area as well.

Coach Ledwith is USAV registered and IMPACT and Beach IMPACT certified.  He is currently CAP 1 certified from USA Volleyball.  He currently holds all background clearances and is Safesport certified. He is NFHS concussion certified.  Coach is also a member of the ACVA, PCA and NASO. 

JV Coach-Harris Boyes

Coach Harris Boyes comes to us as the JV Coach and Varsity assistant.  His most recent coaching job was coaching JV at the George School.  Coach Boyes has also assisted with the Boys and Girls teams at Council Rock South. 

For club  Coach Harris coached 14's at Delta Volleyball Club and is now coaching 15's at East Coast Power.  Coach has also been selected as a coach for the Boy's program at EC Power and will be taking on the 16's. 

Coach Harris is IMPACT certified as well as NFHS Heads up concussion certified.  In addition he is First Aid, CPR and AED certified.

Consulting and Clinic Coach- Janet Quinn

Coach Quinn is assisting with program development and will be coaching during our elementary and middle school clinics.  She is a graduate of Bishop McDevitt in Wyncote.  She currently is the Region 11 Chairman of CYO volleyball, as well as the coach at Saint Catherine's and OLHC, a consistent final 4 team in the region.  Coach Quinn also coaches clinics through the year for boys and girls in 1st through 8th grade.   As a coach she has coached and developed many of the areas current top players including many of the girls on the Wood team.
