On Wednesday before Easter break the Raiders of Archbishop Ryan played host to the Vikings and looked to gain another league win. Wood was determined to stay on a roll having won on Monday against Prep. The first set was evident of that as neither team pulled ahead by much and Ryan came within a few points of winning the set, but Wood found a way to put it to bed 25-23. After that come back Wood had in the first set a much improved Ryan team seemed to be a bit deflated and dropped the set to the Vikings 25-8. The Raiders quickly regrouped and gave Wood a scare in the third set. Ryan was leading and an interesting call from the referee's gave the Vikings the lead and momentum they needed to finish off the set 25-19. Highlights of the evening included Jack Waltrich with 4 monster kills on the outside and Dave Lehmann serving for 22 points of the three sets!
Wood is now 6-1 PCL and 6-3 overall, Ryan is 2-6 PCL. All teams return to action on the 22nd after Easter break, when Wood takes on E&S the defending AA District 12 Champions.
