La Salle
Taking on the reigning PCL champions on Senior night was a big task but the Vikings proved they were up to it. They swept the Explorers at home in straight sets, to clinch the PCL regular season title! With scores of 25-17, 25-16 and 25-22 Wood put on a show for all those in attendance.
Lansdale Catholic
In a short turn around, Wood traveled to Lansdale to take on the Crusaders in a rematch of the tightly contested one a month earlier. Wood would come out with the win against LC on their Senior night.
Roman Catholic
Roman came into the last match of the season for Wood with upset on it's mind. Wood held on strong to win in straight sets 25-21, 25-21, 25-11.
Salesianum
The Delaware state champions agreed to play a Tri match with Wood and Roman Catholic and it proved to have a great level of competition for all involved! Sallies picked up a first set win against the Vikings 15-25. The next set was all Vikings all the way winning 25-13. The third became tightly contested but Wood prevailed 25-22. The final set saw the Vikings take the match 25-23.
The next time Wood Plays is in the PCL Semis on Wednesday May 13th!
